BUT, there are STILL 5 days until Eoin’s birthday - we have done SO very well up until now, and I know we can still get to pushing this project forwards. What do you say to trying to get to a £900 goal??

There has recently been a drive to get children with brain tumours diagnosed earlier, to give them a much better chance of survival. A news item about this was featured on the regional show BBC South Today, and it included an interview with Neil Dickson, father of Samantha, and co-founder of the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust - the charity we are raising money for with the Eoin Macken Birthday Project.
He discussed their new initiative ‘HeadSmart’, which is trying to spread the word on which symptoms to look for in which children’s age groups. It’s aimed at parents and doctors to make try and make everyone more aware so a diagnosis can be made earlier.
I swear these two’s conversations will kill me with laughter.
I don’t even want to think how dull twitter must’ve seemed before Eoin and Tom’s conversations.
